Spun Catalytic Converters
FLOWMONSTER'S Catalytic Converters use only the best quality products and are made in the USA. While our catalytic converters may not look like your everyday "standard" converter. Much research and development has gone into these Spun converters. By using the Round style this forces the exhaust flow to filter through the whole catalytic Converter, unlike most of your stock Oval converters where the Body is much wider than where the inlet/outlet is positioned. Exhaust flow is much like water, it will find the quickest and easiest way out. So on most stock & aftermarket oval converters this means the exhaust will flow in line with the inlet/outlet, and even though they look larger only about 60% of the catalyst is being used properly. When you remove your old converter you will see the parts inline with the inlet/outlet will be much darker than to the sides. Our Converters meet all the EPA requirements and are legal for sale and use in 49 States, except California.
