Warranty

FLOWMONSTER Catalytic Converters are warranted to be free from *Defects(1) in material and workmanship subject to the *exclusions(2), conditions and durations limits set forth below. The Catalytic Converter has been designed, manufactured, and is warranted to meet the U.S Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emission requirements for 2 years / 25,000 miles whichever arrives first. The converter body and ends alone are warranted for 5 years / 50,000 miles, whichever arrives first. At the Conclusion of the 5 year / 50,000 miles or 2year/25,000Miles Warranty period, whichever is applicable, all liability under this limited warranty shall terminate.

Direct Fit Catalytic Converter Limited Warranty

All FLOWMONSTER Direct Fit Catalytic Converters carry the same warranty as universal except any additional Front Pipes, Rear Pipes, Flanges, bolts, Clamps, etc… will only have a 1 year limited warranty.

DEFECTS (1)

If a Catalytic Converter is deemed defective, FLOWMONSTER will supply the orginal purchaser with a New catalytic converter (excluding any shipping/handling charges including return & Replacement shipping cost) provided the following conditions are met:

The purchaser must return the converter at their cost to an authorized dealer or manufacture (preferred), along with their copy of the Warranty Claim card (which was originally filled out and mailed in) and Proof of purchase (original Invoice)

If the warranty claims relates to emission performance, the purchaser should provide proof of failure of an emission test.

FLOWMONSTER may require the purchaser to provide proof that the engine was tuned to original manufacturer specifications and maintained in proper operating conditions.

EXCLUSIONS (2)

Failure of defects caused by the following matters are not covered by this warranty: Improper installation or poor welding (Including installation on a vehicle for which the converter is not recommended for ie: use of a converter that is recommended for 5.9L 6,000LBS GVW on a vehicle that has a larger engine or Gross Vehicle Weight). Failure to maintain the vehicle in proper operating condition with all Factory installed emission control equipment properly connected and operating according to the vehicle manufacture’s specifications. The use of Leaded Fuel; damage to the External in result from road rash, accident or negligence will Void Warranty.

Most Catalytic Converter Computer Codes are caused by another sensor or item not working properly causing the converter to work harder or trapping unburned Fuel which will result in the converter failing. If your original converter failed we recommend you find out what caused it to fail, We have a great tech page which will help you determine the failure and identify the problem, but the best most recommended way is to hire a professional shop. If you fail to fix the initial problem this may void your warranty

Mufflers & Exhaust products

Any other FLOWMONSTER exhaust product, besides catalytic converters are warranted against manufacture defects for the period of 1 Year from date of purchase. For warranty to be in effect the original purchaser must keep the invoice and box end with label for proof of purchase, no exceptions. If item is returned for warranty it will be inspected for improper installation, road damage, or use as a item was not originally intend for or to be used on. For a warranty item FLOWMONSTER will replace the item in question with a equal part, if the part you purchased is unaviable or discontinued FLOWMONSTER reserves the right to substitute with a product of equal or greater value. FLOWMONSTER’s warranty is for replacement of parts only, Any and All Shipping charges are to be paid by purchaser, which includes shipping to and from FLOWMONSTER. There will be No Cash Back for warranty items.

FLOWMONSTER will not be held responsible for Incidental or consequential damages such as but not limited to:Physcial Injuries or property damages, Loss of time, Loss of use of vehicle, Inconvience, Rental Vehicle, Towing Charges, or Accommodations resulting from the failure of any part due to the use or misuse of any product.
